Default Fox, rear shocks..

I'm upgrading the LCA's on my 86 which is a 302 swap car with an 8.8 rear and its currently using stock LCAs with stock shocks.

I have been shopping rear shocks since I am already going to be back there anyways and all the shocks I am finding are for 87-93 cars. Whats the difference? is there any? I know struts are different on 86-earlier compared to 87-newer, but I always assumed the shocks would be the same. I'd just like to make sure before I fork out the money. Thanks in advance.

Go buy you some KYB AGX adjustable shock and be done with it.. They don't cost too much but they are very good.. I use them on my Mach and they have been great..
