Cold Fusion Direct Port System on 347
Just wanted to let you guys know how this system runs:
A few specs: 347 ci, .650 solid roller, Super Victor intake converted to EFI, 30 lb inj, Pro M 77, Mac 1/34 longtubes, Turbo 350, 8.8 with 3.73. I use to run an NOS Big shot plate when I had an Edlebrock performer intake. When I went to the CF direct port I swithced intakes and jetted the car for a 200hp hit. Car ran flawless: 9.82 @ 139mph! I am jetting the car for a 250 hp and putting some new suspension in place. Hope to have new results soon! |
damn good times, keep us filled in.
what heads do you have on that setup? |

well you def. got a good runnin car man!
got any flow numbers? |
NICE numbers, very impressive! What did the car run before?
|
Thanks guys....
With the old setup ie. different intake (I had a Hogans Sheetmetal upper and Edlebrock lower with an NOS Big Shot) the best I got out of it was 9.90 @ 136.xx - and that was jetted at 250 hp. (it was a really safe tune) Now with the Super Victor and CF DP kit the car has gone faster with less nitrous! I "should" have my suspension done in a couple weeks...(when I get some freakin free time!) and I'll take it back out and see what happens... Hoping to go some 5.9x's with the new suspension and another 50hp... |
Great time man.. Keep up the good work..

got any flow numbers? My heads were done a LONG TIME ago by Casey Snyder when he was a student at SAM (now he is currently the SAM head instructor).... They flowed like 310/230 @ .600  |

I am picking up a 93 notch tomorrow, aftermarket block (not sure if it's just the lousy sportsman or a dart), ported tw heads matched to edelbrock intake, and basically all of the same stuff you have, going through a C4.
I have a couple of questions....what stall do you have (rpm)? What rpm are you spraying, and what rpm is it shifting? Thanks, Steve |
