hey there. im paul, i got an 83 glx vert that will hopefully will be seeing a track for the first time in its life sometime this season. ive had the car for a couple years and have been steadily putting money into it.

heres a couple pictures, sorry about the quality, the only camera i have is a hi8 camcorder

wow. i also noticed, after i posted this, that i spelled my frickin name wrong. instead of tokinGLX i got tolinGLX

is there a way this can be changed, or can i delete this account and make a new oneż

hell ya. i love the 83/84s.

heres a current mod list, by the end of the week tho, i will be ordering an ed curtis cam to go with my brand new heads(theyve been on for exactly one week now---frickin awesome!!)


hedman headers, gutted cat, single exhaust, vforce muffler
holley 650 dp carb, edelbrock performer289 intake manifold
afr 165s 58cc, trickflow 1.6 roller rockers
ford racing air cleaner, msd cap and rotor
replaced alternator, air pump, starter, coil, water pump, oil pan, serp belt, multiple batteries-
remanufactured long block jan 05
tko 5 spd 26 spline transmission
ford racing aluminum driveshaft
98 cobra 8.8 rear axle full rebuild, new limited slip, new 3.55 gears
5 lug conversion, pbr 13" front and 10" rear disc brakes, willwood proportioning valve
sn95 struts
spec stage 3 clutch, pro 5.0 shifter, new flywheel
pro3i lower control arms
mm 4 point roll bar, mm subframe connectors
17" konig wheels w/low profile tires
rockford fosgate 300 watt amp w/2 10s in the trunk
viper100 alarm

thank you. the car has come a long way since its been in my posession. i love the thing and have learned a lot since i stopped working 60+ hours a week and actually started doing maintenance on it myself. so ill probably be asking a lot of newb questions
