Max Horsepower with a stock bottom end 4.6?

A member of ModularFords by the name of Ryan98GT is making 545hp/480tq. A friend of mine that is also on ModularFords by the name of Chris00GT is making 530hp/463hp.
As for me, I'm only making 433rwhp but I've gone quicker than both of them in the 1/4. Lol.

You should check out Sean Hylands How to build max performance 4.6 book. Alot of information and details about all blocks, rods, pistons, and what the limits are to each. The tune is most important though, for any HP level, as far as any longivity goes.

Amen. I blew the original engine in my car with Vortech's supplied FMU "bandaid". Needless to say, WAY too much timing doesn't go well with hypereutectic pistons.
I picked up a good bit of power just by getting a custom SCT tune.
