Default OBDII port not working on 05

the OBDII port is not working on the mustang. any ideas what the problem could be? I don't see how it is related, but the AC seemed to stop working about the same time. it blows, just no cold air the car also seems way down on power.

ya I know that is an option, but i would rather try to fix it myself if possible first. I don't really want to deal with their BS about having the car modified.

I was just looking for input on anything to look at.

ok. I'm embarassed. I took it into the dealer to day. fuse #47 labeled Engine #1 was blown. it was causing the ac compressor not to kick on. why couldn't it be labeled ac?? of course I check all the fuses that looked like they were related

the power is back too. I bet it lost 50 hp with that fuse blown.

also, the OBDII was working. Adavnced Auto scanners apparently just can't read it.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to remember that if I ever have the same problem.
