Ford or Chevy.

I broke my drivers side axle bearing on DR's (when my rear was stock) then a different time I managed to weld my pressure plate to the disk.

Wifes car- spark plug boot came off.

Anybody beat that? -Mark

EDIT: oh and managed to rip my airbag in my rear suspension. sounded like there was a snake under my car.

I've broken my whole car! Wrecked my 88 just past the 1/8 mile a couple years back. Parted the car out.

With my present car...3 trannys, 2 torque converters, 1 rear gears, 2 differentials, lifted the heads twice.

Nothing. Just always at the track with friends when they break

In my 05
I spread the stock differential as well as an Auburn Pro after 4 passes. Tru trac is the way to go in this car. Ate up one set of gears too.
I managed to pull the carrier bearing support on the 2 pc. driveshaft off of the body (at launch) which lengthened the drive shaft, shoved everything forward, cracked the bellhousing as well as about 8 cracks all around the rear of the block. I've also broken the shifter linkage slamming gears. Roasting the stock clutch is a given
I think that's about it. I can't seem to recall anything else at this time.

Damn, that thing must launch hard. What kind of 60' times are you getting out of it?

Leaving at 6K, I was only getting 1.6's. Once I finish up the turbo install, it should get into the 1.4's.
The sad thing is that I was getting 1.8's on stock tires (Pirelli P Nero's).

my old coupe broke a stock axle on street tires... ended up needing a new diff after the axle mushroomed to where we couldnt get it out thankfully blue91 (fred) and a few other of the guys were there to help with taking it apart and after a few days putting it back together! after it broke i kept going and ran my fastest pass of the day with my wheel sticking half way out on the big end lol

fotgot to say i also destroyed 3rd gear in that car and a set of fms gears on the car i have now
