Well, now that I have a SPEC Stage 4 "ankle liberator" clutch, a Denny's driveshaft, and 4.11's in the 12 bolt, I've been letting it absolutely drop at 6500 Haven't broke anything yet!

I AM worried about that SPEC clutch though, its started making noise when its cold.

 

I have a spec and I absolutely love it. I drop the hammer at 7000rpms and it still chrips 4th w/ 26x10's. Of course I don't have the T-loc in the back though. My rear goes clickety click when I turn. -Mark

 

The rear end on my 2000 trans am did the whole clickety click whenever I turned left. It was completely stock with 15000 miles and it still did it. Good old weak 7.5!!
