F37E casting Cobra GT40 heads on stock bottom end?

Default F37E casting Cobra GT40 heads on stock bottom end?

Will it work? I found a set that were used on a 302 that was in a marine application.

He says the reason he is upgrading is because they are switching to a bigger badder 351. From the way they are cast and with the slash marks on the end they appear to me to be the same exact ones as a Cobra. Oh, and I just found out it has a casting # of "F37E AA" on it as well.

The selling price for them is cheap, thats why I am very interested, but they wont last long!

Will these work on my stock bottom-end without having to notch the pistons or no? How much work is it going to take?

Yes they should. How cheap? You can usually pick up good GT40s for 300 or so.

Yeah, I skipped on em, I did some more digging up on the guys heads and decided they were not worth the hastle so I am going to order up a different set of iron GT40s for the project. Thanks tho!
