Heres your rundown. Mach 1 has an aluminum block with a forged crank if its a 5 speed. If its an automatic its got a cast crank. The cobra is an iron block with forged internals. The heads on the two cars are the exact same things (call ford and cross reference the part #'s). And of coarse to the cobras got a blower. Cobra runs low compression (good for boost) Mach 1 runs high compression (good for N/A and Juice) you can put a blower on a mach 1 but you will be boost limited.

Thanks a lot guys, that's exactly the type of info I was looking for! Friend of mine just bought a Mach and I'm waiting for a drive. Sold my T/A and am working two jobs for the summer and hope to find a new ride in the fall. If I can afford a Mach I'll probably go for that but we'll see. Gas prices are kicking my ***. What kind of mileage would a mostly stock maybe boltons Mach get?
