Default 2 instead of one?

I wondering if any one used 2 turbos rated for like a 2.2L engine. Should it be giving the same capacity of one turbo for a V8? I have a 5.4L so would a couple of small turbos work?

With small turbos the max effciency point peaks early. This gives quick boost responce at the extreme expence of high back pressure and high intake-charge temp. To keep intake-charge temp down larger turbos are necessary. Cooler temps mean denser air, which keeps torque peaks at higher RPM's. Nether set up is bad it depends on how you want it to peform.

Thanx for the info. It then sounds doable. I hardly get over 4 grand and I've got a 4.56 rear.
