350 shot on a stock motor????

350 shot on a stock motor????
A friend of mine has a direct port kit he said he would sell me for cheap, should I put it on with the 350 pills?? I want to race my cousins stock Ls1 car, and embarass him!?

A DP 350 shot? You serious? I wouldn't do it on a stock anything motor. I wouldn't do it without nitrous pistons (with the gas porting, coated, etc), a dedicated fuel system running the highest octane I could, cold plugs, and a lot of dyno time slowly building up to the 350 shot. I'd probably start with a 100 shot and work up from there.
Just slapping on a 350 shot sounds like a great way to pop your motor.

at most you're gonna want a 150 shot, and that's dangerous territory with the stock long block. I'd stick with a cool 100 shot. and no worry about blowing my engine to smitherines

DO IT!!!!!!!! i wanna see what you car looks like after the entire long block explodes...... might want to reinforce that firewall....

Better see if Lakewood makes a blowproof firewall. Kinda like starting off with a stick of dynamite when a fire cracker would suffice.

Besides if the motor would stay together a 4.6 with a 350 shot would probably make 425 rwhp.
