That's one sweet stang...
Wow! That's gonna get some people talkin' :)
makes ya wonder
Car looks good, MOTOR SUCKS!
I guess its still 1/2 a Mustang, kinda like losing one ball? ;) Arron |
yeah, where was that exactly, i had a couple ppl tell me about that mustang
It was at Nick Fields shop Fastlane which I should have as a sponsor soon. He just bought an 06GT and has a few twin turbo 05s in the shop.
Best damn thing could've happened to that car...... I'm not a fan of the mod motors.....
went to see that stang a couple weeks ago. Duncan Field who is a friend of mine...uncle owns that shop and built that car. he is trying to get his own line of mustangs into production through ford. he has already signed a contract with them.
that block is a C5-R block that was supposedly built and delieverd by carrol shelby himself. although what i dont understand is why a ford guy would build and deliver a chevy block. but anyways, they are puttin a 5 spd in and tweaking the exhaust to quiet it down. There are a few others minor defects that are being fixed. Very nice car indeed. putting down 1038 RWHP and 932 lb/ft TQ... |
Um I want one
Awesome!!!
Looks sweeeeet
Yeah anything above 400 ci is awesome
:gay: Crossbreeds are bizzare, kind of makes me believe the owners are bi-polar. What exactly are his goals are with that car  :gay:
Who knows how much dough he pissed away building that car, now the moron can't even compete in the greatest semi-pro race series happening these days. God know there isn't one for LS1s :bang: He would have been better off going with a 4V, would have made more power  |
i like it. it's definately unique
Wow...that's a serious motor.
What kind of power is it making? |
I will admit the crossbreeding is wierd. The motor is great but why not shove it in a corvette or a camaro.
we had a fox bod in the carb shop where i used to work...89 LX fox bod painted sunset orange with a turbo-ed 355. made 800+ horse by the time it left. It was bad ass. he had a window sticker that said "Built Ford tough with Chevy stuff." I liked it.
:eek2: Thats nuts!... Very cool car, IMO...
I knew about it after it had got off the engine dyno. Shelby did not deliver it. Nickens bros built the motor out in Conroe Texas
That thing is Sweet

I dont have a single problem with the mod motors except that they are too small. Ford needs a bigger V8. But you have to admit that a 281 ci inch motor putting out 320 hp in N/A form is more inpressive than a 5.7 putting out 325 N/A.

You're funny. Lets take a 2005 motor and compare it to a motor that was made over 4 years ago. Good job. Just in case you didn't know, the 5.7's after 2002 put down 405hp. |

All im saying is that the mod motors are pretty decent motors for their size. I will just leave it at that. |
That's pretty damn cool. I like the idea.

I always wanted to put an LS1 in my old GT and plate it "CNFUSD"
I like that car. Screw Ford vs. GM, that is a bad ass ride. |

Then they bumped it up to 6.0 L (LS2) which got them 400 hp.
