I have a 2004 Chevy Z71 Silverado 5.3 4x4 that i had to recently put a new motor in (only 72,000 miles) because rear cam bearing spun, not sure if the bearing spun to motor or cam, will find out when i do tear down. Some may think did this guy change his oil, answer is yes, i'm old school it got changed every 3000 miles, pulled a crank bearing and they looked new.
Now that i have the old motor out i want to play with it and put it back into the truck and smoke some of these so called fast trucks here in San Antonio, TX. got any ideas.
General Motors was involved in some of this but i refused thier help.
