ok, 9.8:1 is great to run 87 octane and get decent boost, but it blows for NA.

I want to raise the compression to 11 or 11.5:1

here's the info I need.

stock combustion chamber size and how much milling effects it.

what is the compressed thickness of the stock head gaskets and are any aftermarket gaskets available??

when do you run into p/v clearance issues on stock cams? I have no problem fly-cutting the pistons if necessary.

 

Milling the heads would require machining the front timing cover also,the best way to raise compression would be a set of flat top pistons to replace the factory dished piston you would gain about 6 cc's. The factory gasket is .033 crushed and pistons are aroud .008-.010 down so a thinner gasket isnt a option. I havent checked p to v with larger cams but I will in the near future as I am having cams ground very soon..

ok, this is pretty close. gives 9.9:1. thought stock was 9.8:1 though.

3.55 bore, 3.54 stroke
-6cc pistons
51.1 cc heads
.009 below deck
gasket .033 crushed

 

There are production tolerances I have cc'ed chambers that are from 50.5 to 51 .7 deck heights very also. I would say when it comes to resurfacing the heads every .005 removed should net -1cc. Dont know what the dcr is.
