Default 4.3l chev on steroids

I'm looking to see if anyone has any idea's concerning a high torque 4.3L chevy.
I am considering converting it to LPG and running 12 to 1 compression. What i need are idea's as to what type of cam profile would I need?
I plan on a full port and polish as well as blue printing the bottom end. I'll be running it with a modified Holley Pro Injection throttle-body with Nology Capacitor Plug Wires and Silver Plugs along with a 85,000 volt coil pack. I'm looking for torque numbers in the 450 - 500 ft.-lb. region in the 1000 to 4500 rpm range. It'll be backed up by a modified 700R4 and a 12 bolt with 3.73 gears.
I'd go to a small block, but they don't fit to well in my slammed 92 Astro.

If you want tons of torque just put a turbo/supercharger on it. We were doing the Typhoon engine and had to stiffle the thing to get the proper numbers on the dyno for production. If you let in enuff boost pressure it will make tons of torque.

I would stay away from LPG. It didn't make it at Holley. When I was at an independant testing facility we went thru a lot of sb chevys and had the same bad results with the heads. You get to see a lot of concepts never make it to production.

I had a carbed 5.0L 6 cylinder that was a screamer. It had a lot of head/manifold work and a solid roller cam. It was built on the old nascar grand national platform.
