Default Headers

My buddy just bought an 06 GT and knows nothing about cars so he looks to me for help. What would be a good set of headers and where to buy?

Dustina, I hope for your sake that your not referring to me. I think if I went to you for answers on cars I would have a few bigger problems on my hands.

Anywhere from $700 - $1500 depending on brand/quality and cats/no cats.

I'm looking at Kooks w/ off road for around $1200.

Is that with the midpipe? The prices I mentioned are for headers/midpipe. That still isn't a bad deal. I just want the fit/quality of the Kooks.

I'm not sure about Mustangs, but Hooker makes nice fitting headers for the f-bodies.

I had some on my '01, they were nice, but I had to beat my floorpan in with a BFH and modify the primaries around the steering shaft.

That price that I mentioned was only for headers, no midpipe. I recently bought a set of them for my 69 chevy p/u, they fit and look great.
