i was wondering what would be the Cheapest and easy'est route to clean up the looks under the hood of a 1990 5.0, ? i have the Gt40 heads and there Blue.... i dont think theres much to do about that unless i repaint them.. but i already wanna Put the BBk Shorty headERS on because the original headers look kinda Shabby... i already have a holley intake sys, chrome 75mm TB, and a good looking air in-take.. but what else can i do to clean it up.. you kno like Show Room Clean look.. with out spending alot of $$... Please Help Me out!!!
i was also wondering if they make a Bar That goes from one side of the Front suspention to the other side i kno theres a name For it but i cant think of it.. i seen one on a 94, just wondering if they make one for a 90? sway bar maybe the one that Goes over the Top~! ??

 

chrome valvecovers, you can buy some new caster/camber plates that will look nicer.
strut tower brace is the dude that runs across the top from side to side.

 

yeah the next day i figured it out but i dont wanna post ***** all over this fourm.. thanx for your ideas, i will have to dig deep into the pocket found, im tryen to talk myself into it. if anyone has any idea's im still open for suggestions.. also if you've seen the 5.0 mag that cover's cobra Crusher, theres an artical in there about a guy who bought a ragged out $300 car, and turned it into a $50,000 show car... thats what my car looks like but its not an 88 4cyl its a 90 gt v8 but alot of the same mods.. i just want his look under the Hood~!

 

Cleaning up under the hood starts with just cleaning. Its amazing how much better it looks when everything is clean! Take some tire foam to the rubber hoses to make them black again, wipe everything down, etc.

 

Whoa ! that helped alot... lol i guess i was to worried about the chrome look that i didnt even think about cleaning what i already had. thanks Bro..
