This is with the addition of an Evolution SCT tuning and a JLT air intake. my signature has my previous with stock tuning, stock air box.

Air was a little cooler tonight though. About 10 degrees according to Weather Underground. Still not a bad gain.

These new automatics sure could benefit from a loose torque converter. It comes on slowly at launch. You can feel the torque come in 30 or 40 feet out. Has to be costing ET! And the rpm drop between 2-3 and 3-4 could be greatly improved. 3-4 almost feels like you put on the brakes when it shifts.

Traction is good on the car with the factory radials. I'm sure a converter would change that.
Great times Larry! Looks like the stock converter works well with the street tires!
When are you upgrading to a loose converter??? Should be easy 12's!

Thanks! If a converter works on this Mustang anything like it did on my Camaro I would be running mid 12s with a PI 3600.

Not sure if I will put a converter in this one however. I can ET race now with radials and launch pretty consistently. No need to change out tires at the track or take a chance drivng out with sticky tires just to get caught in the rain. Will be a fun car to ET race just like it is. A converter is a pretty expensive mod too expecially when you have to add tires into the picture!

Nice times Larry! I wanted to go to HRP last Friday also, but got trapped doing yard work.

Looks like bracket racing starts on Apr 12th, I might have to start taking this Mustang weekly.

It would be fun to line em up! Kinda like old times. Lets try for that first Wednesday night ET racing. I wouldn't mind winning a "second" place trophy.

Just can't believe yard work is more important than racing! LOL!
