Default 80 mph in Texas

I heard they where gonna raise your speed limits to 80mph. Just seeing if this was a rumor. Wish CA would do this.

I haven't heard anything, but in the rural areas it sure would make sense. There's still a LOT of wide open nothingness in Texas, that takes forever to drive through

Must be nice, In Kentucky the rural expressways are 65 mph, and the 8-12 lane express ways here in Louisville are a whopping 55 mph.

The fastest in Ca is 70 and thats only a few roads. My sister lives in maryland she tells me they can only go 50. I dont think I could manage that on a long drive.

Speed limits are 70mph here in Michigan on the highways. I'm ok with that.
75mph is about the norm and cops don't mess with you unless you're at 77+mph.
My **** revs too high at 80mph anyway because of the gear/tire combo.
