My car was pretty quick with the stock block 347, but the stock block was on the edge, so here's the new combo going together. I just picked up a Dart Iron Eagle race block (all 5 mains 4 bolt) and a forged scat crank and rods with JE pistons to build a 427 windsor. It will be a solid roller cam motor with either TFS cnc high ports, or AFR 225s. Open to suggestions on that. I plan to run either a Edelbrock Victor 5.8 with a 2 stage gemini setup or a super victor with a direct port system. Also open to suggestions on that. I'll be spraying a total of around 300hp. I have a Lentech trans now with a PI triple disc stallion converter now that stall at 4200 that I'll probably find the life expectancy on. I want it to make peak power at about 7000 to 7200 so I can shift it at about 7500. It will have the full UPR pro rear suspension with a built 8.8 with 9" ends 3.73s and a spool. It already has QA1s all around and a tubular front. As you can guess, this won't be my daily driver, but it will be driven. Let's hear your opinions and comments!!

I'm hoping it will go deep into the tens on the motor and into the nines on a single stage. As far as hp #s, with the high stall, who knows? 6xx on the motor?
What's your guess?
