We are looking for some motivated Mustang enthusiasts to become moderators on this site. Here are some of the things we are looking for:

1. Mustang owners with modification and racing experience. The more you race, the better.
2. Guys/gals with positive attitudes, level-headed and mostly non-biased.
3. Members who can visit the site almost daily, and generate interesting topics for discussion.
4. If you have references, that would be helpful too.

What we can't consider:
1. Members who own performance related businesses.
2. Members with historically argumentative attitudes on other sites.

Keep in mind that our most active and positive moderators tend to get excellent hook-up deals from our sponsors. If you are interested, please reply here

If I had more time, I'd be willing to help out. I'll be putting in some crazy hours starting here in the next few weeks. I can't wait either. The sooner the over-time comes, the sooner I get to buy parts!! :burn:

I will take the classifieds or video section if you need anybody, I have alot of videos to whore and love that stuff. I also cant stand scammers and people that reply in for sale threads just to ruin them. I have great feedback on Ebay and have sold ALOT of parts on the F-Body and Mustang boards if it helps haha.

If you can't find anyone else, I think I could handle a section...I have some experience:

I was kind of an unofficial Crew Chief for Joe Lynch for a few years, he's got a white 99 Cobra Convertible with nitrous that runs in the 10's. I've also done most of the work on my car (well, I did a lot of watching with the rearend work - they were afraid I'd drop the gears on myself) And hey, maybe it's a plus that I don't know many of you that well - it helps with the unbiased thing.

For a reference, email joe@joelynch.org.

I would be interested. I'm pretty new to the mustang scene though... I do all my own work on cars ahave big plans for the 05. I have been racing heavily since 1999 am a co-owner of www.mofbody.com and moderator there. I've primarily built my camaro myself; from stock to one of the 1st 383's in 99 to now a 408. tried dozens of different parts, hundreds of dyno pulls. I'm guessing you may know me from ls1tech.

I shouldn't have a problem getting on here multiple times daily, most of the time.

He's got me searching for C6's :secret2:

The motor stuff is all done for the Cobra, all he needs is enough time to sit down and throw it all together-then, it's either a turbo, nitrous or both... :drive:

"level-headed and mostly non-biased" I didn't know those were actual requirements for Mods in the Texas section on LS1tech lol. I can mod the down South forum with the requirements you listed. It's the least I could do after you giving my roommate and I an entertainment center for our freshman year of college :)

Hi my name is Adam. I am very interested in becoming a Moderator on HighTechMustangs. I have an 2003 GT that should be hitting the mid 12’s by the end of this race season. I have a lot of experience in forum but have became jaded by the immature attitude and lack of tech. I was turned onto your site by Goldenvelvet. He is a moderator on performancetrucks.net, and could provide you with a reference.

I have also sent a P.M.

I used to work for TireKingdom/Merchants for a few years as an Apprentice Tech then moved into as a Service writer/tire sales and now work for Toyota as a Service writer.

I currently work at ETD Discount Tire Center in Wayne, NJ. been here about 2 years. I definately like working in the field but the service/tire business isnt exactly where i'd like to be. This seems to be more customer oriented, id rather be in the performance side where the focus is more on the car

I know what you mean. I almost took a job in the performance aspect, but I don't want to get involved with my hobby making it a career. Atleast working for the dealership, I still have a little break.

i definately understand where your coming from with that and a lot of people think that way. but i look at it as more of a lifestyle then just a hobby. id rather be building the cars then testing them to racing them at different events or whatever. i hang out at my buddies shop from time to time and i like that atmosphere a lot more and the customers are a lot more of the type i like and can relate to. and then when they picked up their finished car and see it or drive it for the first time i could imagine the way they feel after just building it for them and seeing how great it can make people feel. i really cant picture myself in any other field or anything like that. id prefer to work on performance cars all day

Sorry I didnt reply sooner. I was demobilizing from Operation Enduring Freedom so I had to travel back home. Finally some relaxation until I head back to work at the dealership. It's gonna be nice to have more time on my hands now.

I like working on them on the side, but couldn't work my hobby. I help my buddies out with installs and all.

Plus I don't own a stang, and get in lots of arguments with my friends who do... mostly becuae I keep beating them

I'd be glad to do it if I could.
I have three foxes now, and i have pretty good knowledge of the engine setups, f/i, driveline, bodywork, and junkyard parts especially.

Car RamRod on ls1tech is my brother too. I'm pretty active on a few other mustang boards as well. So if you need help with any tech boards let me know, if not I'm still happy to throw out some knowledge here and there.
