FOR SALE: 2003 Yamaha R6 with less than 1200 miles! BONE STOCK!
For Sale:
2003 Yamaha YZF R6 Sportbike in Silver/Black. This bike is BONE STOCK and has less than 1200 miles on it. This bike is practically brand new, as it has sat for most of its life. The bike still even has the paper plate on it from April of 2003. Bike has clear title, ready to be signed over to buyer.
Way back in 2003, the battery went dead due to the key being left on. It was towed back to the owner's sister's house and when unloading it, the tow-truck driver dropped it. This resulted in some cosmetic damage on the left side. This is very minor and shown in the pictures. The owner never bothered going after the driver for repairs and thus the bike sat for years in his sister's garage with a dead battery and a little minor damage. In order to get it back on the road after sitting so long, I have replaced the battery, changed the oil, and replaced the subframe with a brand new OEM one (can provide receipts). One fairing, one mirror and one turn signal and the bike is back to brand spanking new. If the bike takes too long to sell, I will eventually replace these parts as well (mirrors and stock turn signals can be had for $20/each on ebay). I haven’t bothered thus far since most people go to flushmount signals and different/no mirrors.
Mechanically, the bike is flawless and runs like it came off the showroom floor. Stock tires are in perfect shape. Pictures below show what kind of shape the bike is in. Even with the slight rash, you won’t find a cleaner bike with less mileage.
