05+ Mustangs and body kits...WTF?

WTF is with all of the 05+ Mustangs with body kits? How has the ricerization gotten so big with the new mustangs? Besides from a set of wheels and lowering springs, I think the outer appearence of the new mustangs should go unchanged.

Its not just the 05+, it started with the fox bodies. Quite a few vendors have been making body kits for Mustangs for over 20 years now, just something that never caught on with the GM crowd. Honestly, I don't see many Mustangs with the kits installed either.

The Fox kits all looked pretty tacky, with one or two exceptions. The SN95 stuff really looked bad. The couple 2005+ kits I've seen look a bit "tacked on" but I'm sure they'll get better over time. They're all working on the "Eleanor" theme more or less, which obviously isn't bad.

Saw this monstrosity at the Dallas Autoshow. It's a scan of their business card; I didn't want to break my camera.

They look fine in stock form, I think it is getting out of hand. :(

Yeah saw a ton of "rice style" rear wings at the show yesterday. I've also notice alot of "DUB" style wheels on them too.

The SN95 kits are so much worse. The most the SN95s need is a Mach 1 front lip.

S197s look HUGE with body kits, does anyone else think so?
