Welcome aboard. :thumb:
My current Mustang is kind of a bastard ;) I'll leave the details on the table for that one right now... :secret2: I sold my other Mustang about a year ago now, so I'm down to the three cars in my sig. The one I sold was a pretty nice looking car, but definitely not the fastest thing in the world.. It was a 91 LX hatch, painted it in my garage (PPG single stage black, gorgeous) with a stock bottom end, Edelbrock Performer upper/lower, 1.90/1.60 Performer heads, long tubes, injectors, maf, 3.55's, and a 100 shot. http://brian.grimal.com/gallery/albu.../aad.sized.jpg |
yeah those wheels actually look pretty decent on that year, dont think ive seen that before. the blue one in your sig is the one you still have currently?
|
Yes, but the blue one currently looks like this..
http://www.ls1mustang.com/gallery/ma...serialNumber=2 The fabrication work is more or less done. I picked up the seats yesterday, painted some interior pieces I couldn't find (yet, paint is temporary), and started on rewiring the car. There's still a handful of things left to do with the car, like build an H-pipe, weld in the solid rear anti-roll bar and build a strong quick-connect for it, weld up new front sway bar brackets, etc. I need to finish the wiring, install the new interior, and it'll be ready to roll. This car is a little bit of everything.. Basic rundown: 1987 SSP Coupe (Kentucky DPS) 346cid stock LS1 shortblock Bo White Ported "Stage I" heads 220/224 .581/.581 114+4 camshaft NX single stage wet kit (jetted to 150) Ross House 4L60e automatic overdrive trans Precision Industries "Vigilante" 3200RPM converter Moser 31 spline axles, FMS Trac-Loc, 3.55 FMS gears Moser C-clip elims Wolfe "thru-floor" subframes Wolfe solid anti-roll bar Comp. Engineering 6 point roll bar So, that's this years' setup. I'm in the process of putting together parts to turbocharge the car, which hopefully I can get done for the 2007 season. Its not a campaign car or anything, just a fun street car. Just your average full interior, power everything, A/C equipped daily driver. |
