Electric Fans...

Which ones are you running?

LS1 fans :secret2: They fit perfectly. Lots of folks use Lincoln Mk8 fans too, they fit pretty nice.

I've got a 'Black Tragic'
Wow does it suck. Think Im about to go buy one of those DC Controlers and a MarkVIII. I hear somepeople have had to trim the shroud a lil tho.

Whatca lookin at buying Bailey?

Taurus fan from the correct motor (think it's the 3.8L) or the SN95 fan fits better than the MkVIII and works as well.

I have one on both cars.

I opted for the SN95 fan. Of course it came with the car..... :twak:

Stupid Black Magic. It barely clears my 8 rib setup. Taurus, Mark VIII are all good.

I run a flex fan, for all you ppl who say they KILL power, I did a interesting test, I routed the fan belt where it only touched the crank at a VERY VERY SHALLOW angle, less than 10* to be sure. Only after 5,000 rpm did the belt begin to squeel...I really dont think it was losing that much power to the flex.

if you are willing to spend a little more change on it, than i would highly recommend the DCC 3081 fan. It has the DCC controller build into it, and flows insane amounts of air. A key to a good electric fan though is not only how much air they flow, but how well they shround the radiator to get proper airflow through the radiator
