Default Short block verification

Can you tell me if I'm AFU:

I used to be a big mustang guy, but it seems that I might have forgotten some details.

Is this correct?
1996-2001 Cobras had forged internals with the aluminum block.
2003-2004 cobras had forged aftermarket internals with the iron block.

ALso does anyone know what changes ford made to the aluminator motors that help them withstand the boost that the old aluminum block couldn't handle?

Thanks for any assistance.
