Pics of my Boss330 Racing built 3V

Here are a few pics of my 3V longblock rebuilt by Al Papitto-Boss 330 Racing. It consists of a Windsor iron block, forged internals, a custom trick valvetrain job by Boss 330, Moroso oil pan, ATI dampner, and JPC pulleys. The motor will handle 1000 or so HP as well as spin to 9K rpm safely. Waiting on the hairdryer for some strong daily driven power.

I can't say for fact....it was bored .020. I'm pretty sure the stroke is as factory spec. I believe it's roughly 4.7*L.

Where abouts in Pittsburgh are you? I suppose you're on Steel city stangs.com as well? My wife's from New Brighton (NW 55 miles of Pitt).
How's that track just East of Pittsburgh?

With a .020 overbore that makes a bore size of 3.57. Stroke would have to be about 4.12 to equal 330 cubic inches.

Correct here! It's a 281 bored .020 over. 330 is referring too Boss 330 Racing, which is the company/Al Papitto that built my motor.

blackfang 05-14-2006 10:21 PM

I know about Al and Boss 330Racing, that is why I asked about the engine size. I saw Al post pics of that motor not to long ago.

Very nice, but come on there can be no secrets, out with the info.......what cams? what is the flow on the heads? lets see the trick valve train, you get the picture.

mcgodx 09-08-2006 06:16 PM

That is a pretty badass looking engine.

Stock cams. Flow numbers phenominal. There's too much debate in flow numbers and I need to hold some cards anyways! The hairdryer doesn't really care about flow numbers either. :drive:
