Hello and a Tech question for all the gurus out there
First off hello to every body. I'm sure I know some of you and sure others are new.
With that said. I'm in the midst of a project. Some people say these springs are too much pressure on the seat. Others have said to use the spring. What do you all think. Can this spring be used with out freat of failure of sorts on a ford spec'd 2v modular aluminum head for an 02 5.4L set up for a forced induction of about 22#s of boost? Here's the info on the springs. I'm not much of a valve train guy so I figured I ask out here. # 68193-16 OD/ID OUTER 1.025"/.660" TOP OD/ID MIDDLE 1.110"/.750" BOTT INSTALL HEIGHT 1.720" RATE 224 COIL BIND 1.030" @ 1.750" = 119 LBS @ 1.100" = 264 LBS Thanks, Roach |
