ford 5.4 4 valve swap
 

well the story goes, i had an 1998 f150 XLT 4.6 4 wheel drive... but had some body damage on the bed so i sold it( bought my wife a real nice exedition eddie bauer). wanted to build a real competion drag/street/strip truck. bought a ton of performance parts ground force lowering kit, bbk shorty headers, and a paxton novi set up for what i was told was for a f150. but was actually for a 4valve navigator engine.... so now ive sold my ford and still have about 4k in parts for an f150....
problem----
i dont have another f150! will be getting another soon!

i have a blower kit for a 4valve 5.4 engine. can i swap a 4valve 5.4 or a 4.6 into a f150?

another problem.
paxton nolonger makes this kit so i cant get it re-bracketed for a 5.4 2 valve

so i have about 3k into a blower i cant use in the truck i want. unless i have 5.4 navigator or aviator... but im not affraid to swap a motor out, ive got a line on a 32 valve 4.6 cheap!! out of continatal but i dont know how it will behave in a f150. or for that mater will it even plug and play with a stock ECM.. i heard it can but really have no idea, is there even a stand alone ECM for these!!not shure

help? derection? or advice would be helpfull because im getting ready to buy another f150 but with a 4 wheel supercrew... but want to get this blower and gets some real power crankin out that 5.4 or 4.6!

and if i cant make this work i wana sell the blower and just get anice whipple or something.... im probbaly going to get a mod max rotaition assembly and monster transmission to hold it all in... ive got all the supporting mods for the fuel system big pump and fuel injectors as well, intercooler . you know the works .after that the only thing i want is a wings west body kit and a nice set of rims and ill do the custom paint next year after i build a make shift booth!
