6.0 vortec LQ3/LQ4

I'am thinking of buying a 6.0 vortec & tranny to put in my 62 Caddy.Is that good engine?

It is a good motor, and this post would get way more attention on LS1tech, rather than here in mod motor land. These guys wouldn't know what to do with 6 liters if it fell in their lap.
