2V-3V Conversion?

is it possible? i know itd take a nice chunk of money but im sure therell be ways especially with HPT comin out with a ford program.

Anything's possible. I don't know if you could drop the 3V in a 2V K-member or not. I doubt the headers would fit, but like you said, it would probably cost a nice chunk of change.

What are the differences between the motors, are we talking completely different block?

BWH2003 04-02-2006 06:18 PM

probably a 3000 dollar swap

I thought SHM was coming out with a 3v head specifically designed to replace a 2v head without much of the BS associated with swapping out to the factory Ford 3v heads?

Wnts2Go10O 04-03-2006 03:52 PM

if the motors/electronics arent tht different why not a 3v head swap to the 2v, whats so different about the 2?

magius231 04-07-2006 05:35 AM

why not just look into a 2v-4v head swap? It has been done before and the heads should be TONS cheaper...

If you were going to do a 2V coversion, the 4V would be the way to go. Those heads flow really well even in a stock form.

the one thing is that the heads are friggin HUGE... retarded huge.. almost as big as the block. just seems a 3v setup would be more sensible.

Are you looking for more HP or just 'retarded' parts? ;)
