Self adjusting clutch quadrant?

Wanted to see if any one has got theirs out and replaced with the adjustable one? I plan to buy one soon, and would like to know if any one has any tips to putting it in or which one is better than others. I am tired of never knowing when my clutch is going to engage.

Its incredibly straight forward. Most of them have three sets of "hooks" on the quadrant that the cable fits into, providing for course cable length adjustment. Then, the cable itself is threaded on one end, and you simply move the nuts up/down the cable to make a fine adjustment. Then, you can also add a firewall adjuster, which allows you to conveniently adjust the cable without laying on your back.

I see a lot of different brands, but also have seen generic brand adjusters. Do you think there would be any benefit to buying a more expensive one or if its not that big of a deal to buy a less expensive generic one? It does not seem to be that intricate of a part to have any durability issues with.

I haven't seen much difference between the name brands either, and I can't even remember which one I bought ;)

I have a BBIK quadrant and a UPR firewall adjuster.

Cool. You like them, or have any problems with them?
