Default loudest, throatiest exhaust possible.

My brother will have his 99-04 GT soon and he wants full exhaust done, but it's gotta sound mean as hell. What long tubes should he get? And should he go X or H, and with what mufflers?

Thanks for all the help and feel free to add any other input.

The SLP is loud, but it sounds like *** IMO I have BBK Lt's coupled to an OR H with mac pro dumps, and I love the setup

Ditto on the Lt's with an H. The dynomax race bullet mufflers dumped would sound nasty too. A buddy of mine has it on his 2v and it sounds like a nasty Hot Street car.

thanks guys, do you think the SLP LM will rasp a lot with long tubes and an ORH? Like it does on the LS1.

an H pipe will sound like mean american muscle. id say go with some LT...really dont care which. an O/R and some borla s type (stingers) mufflers. on borlas website theyre called S types. but they sound absolutely insane. throaty and yet have a good tone and theyll make some noise. and put some cut outs in front of the mufflers.

+1 for the stingers. I have heard many 03/04 cobras with the stingers and they are just nasty
