Drive by wire check?

There is some talk about throttle delay via the Drive by Wire function of our throttle bodies. I removed my inlet tube so I could view the throttle body plates position during operation. Had my wife working the throttle, engine off of course, key on. When she depressed the throttle quickly the blades opened instantly. No lag there at least without the engine running.

My theory is the lag may be from the Charge Motion Control Plates. I think that is the next free mod for my engine.

Haha, typical Larry already digging into the new toy. I love it!

My addiction to playing with my cars does keep me off the streets and from chasing those wild women.

You need a few more cars Tony. You only have seven now! Do you own a storage facility?

lmao, actually I do have a large storage unit. It holds two cars and a lot of parts :)

The other 5 vehicles go in the bedroom?
What is an H-D Fat Boy? Don't know that I would want him in my bedroom!

Highly Distraught Fat Boy - Tony sings to him to keep him calm... :)

Looks like the CM plates are the culprit.

First I turned on the ignition, engine not running. The throttle plates open immediately but the CM plates do not move at all. Started the engine. Again had the little lady hit the throttle hard momentarily. The CM plates have a definite lag behind the throttle plates. This is our source of hesitation or lag when going to WOT. Now for the fix!
