15th Annual Ford & Mustang Show: January 9th-11th 2009 at Silver Springs, Ocala FL!

Yep, all you Ford fanatics know what I'm talking about, and it's that time of the year again! The 15th Annual Ford & Mustang Show is January 9th-11th 2008 at Silver Springs!

National Parts Depot (NPD) has held a Mustang and Fords show in January at Silver Springs, a nature theme park in Ocala, Florida, for the past 14 years. We've always experienced great turnouts for this show (almost at max park capacity last year: over 1,100 cars, everything from bone stock and perfectly restored to highly modified, chopped and one-off rides), plus the attraction of having other things to do besides check out the cars, such as glass-bottom boats to check out the natural springs, a kids petting zoo, and more. Check out: www.silversprings.com for more on the park and all its attractions.

The 2009 edition of the Ford & Mustang show will take place on Saturday January 10th and Sunday the 11th. As usual, the first 1,000 cars to pre-register by January 1st will have free entry into the park for driver and one passenger for both days. Don't delay on registering, as we crested the 1,000 mark before November 1st last year! Any entry registering after January 1st, day of show or beyond the 1,000-car threshold may purchase the show package for $21.00 per car, which still includes passes for driver and one passenger. PLEASE NOTE: If you are planning to attend but not show a car, you'll be subject to the standard park entrance fee of $33.99/general, $24.99 for children ages 3-10.

Registration is available for all Ford models early or late, and they must be Ford-powered as well!

We also have a cruise to Cedar Key from NPD's store on Friday morning. It leaves around 9:30 a.m. (arrive fueled up and ready to go, don't be late) and we had 145 cars do the cruise in 2008.

Justin from VMP Tuning will likely return again this year with his mobile Dynojet on Friday afternoon (still working that out as this point). Show up your friends by throwing down the big power, and the highest pull gets a goodie bag from NPD.

The registration form is now up on our website www.npdlink.com Click the icon on the upper left (takes you to our events page) and there you can download a pdf form to print and mail in. Don't delay, the first 1,000 spots will go fast!

Mustang Monthly and Mustang & Fords will be in attendance as well, and features for their magazines have comes from this show for years, along with editor choice awards.

Shoot me an e-mail at dputnam@npdlink.com if you have any questions, need forms mailed, etc. If you want a stack of forms for a business or club, I can also handle that! :D
