Mod motor in a vintage Mustang?

I have a 1969 Stang. Right now it only has a very tired L-six. I would like to drop a Mod motor. I know a Mod motor will fit. It has been done before. But it is not a direct drop in. What would be entailed in the swap.

i would love to see an article/write up on this as well. just picked up a 69 that i wanna make a nice little street car and its going to take me several years to restore it since its in pretty rough shape right now, but ultimately id like to throw my 2V in it with the new edelbrock carb manifold and a nice demon carb

Year One made a 1969 Mach 1 with a DOHC SC Cobra motor. I tried to find a pic of it. They said it required a lot of modifications to the strut towers... I would think that a 2V would fit easier because the heads arnt as wide.
