Are the hood scoop and the quater panel scoops bolted on to the car, or are they on there with 2 way tape? Reason for asking is my buddy wants to take them off the car. If anyone has any pics they would want to post also that would be cool.

 

Hood scoop is bolted with 2 in-line bolts through the hood. It won't be too bad to take it off, but you'll probably see fading at the very least. The sidescoops, I'm not sure how to take them off, but I do know that leaving them off will require some body work.

If your buddy has a common color, I doubt it would be hard to find someone with a '99 willing to trade an unscooped hood for his scooped one.

 

The side scoops are held on with square plastic clips, you can remove them by removing the interior trim on the opposite side of the side scoop, but there is a large hole, it would take alot of work to delete them. Or you could just pick up the bullit side scoop's they sit flush with the body lines and act as a "delete kit" if you will
