That is my next project....it's gonna be a 2006 Mustang GT M5 Black on Black.

Looking at the Procharger D1SC right now...I like the fact it has that Air to Air intercooler....

I'll get some pics up as soon as I can...should be a fun little project!

I've heard about it....

The owner of the car may be changing his mind now....may be moving towards a Saleen/Kenne Bell setup now....

stick with the D1SC Paul. I have a few pics of one that I saw in Bradenton if you would like me to post them up. It was on a Saleen though. Let me know.

Sounds like you had fun down there! Wish I could of gone!

IMO, go with a big blower (F1) if the motor is built. Those 3V's respond very well
to boost.

Ok...going in new direction....

Going with a Kenne Bell setup - about 8-9lbs....
We are wanting around 430-450 rwhp....we do not want to have to worry about blowing the motor up....car is daily driven...

Looking at some dyno graphs, the "roots" type blower just makes so much more HP and TQ down low compared to the Procharger....
And with these cars being so heavy we have decided this would be best suited for the application....

And the KB can be pullied to make well over 600 rwhp down the road in the event the owner decides to put in a nice shortblock...

I will make a new thread once things get rollin...should have it here in 2-3 weeks....

Well, you can't really go wrong with a KB. Is that a 2.2L? I hope it's not a 1.7L. I'm
not sure if KB makes a 1.7L for the new 'stangs.

I am almost positive the KB for the S197, IS a 2.2L.

Actually its a 2.4L blower.

Have they hit the streets? I thought they hadn't officially been released, yet.

With the 2.4L on '03 Cobras, you have to really spin the shit
out of them to reap the benefits (24psi+). Does the same hold
true for the '05-'06 'stangs? I would imagine so.

Not sure if that's true - compared to what?? Not a centrifugal blower.....
A roots type will make more boost a lot faster than a centrifugal....

24psi?? That's a lot! No matter what forced induction you use...

Anyways, the Kennebell arrived today! Hopefully it will be going on soon! (When I get some spare time!) Looking for 430-460 rwhp with about 9lbs of boost on the car!

Sorry...my comment was in comparison to the smaller 2.2L blower.
The 2.2L is more efficient and makes more power than the 2.4L at
lower boost pressure. The 2.4L shines when you spin it to the moon.
