hey guys......

first time logging on to this site. i've been a member of ls1tech for a long time, but now i have a reason to visit here. i just thought i'd share a couple pics with you of the car i just picked up. feel free to let me know what you think.

Quick specs......

2001 Cobra crate motor
Tremec TKO 500 5 spd.
4.30 gears
Bogarts D-10's
8pt. roll bar
Drivin it 800 miles, avg. 25 mpg @ 70-75, AC on!!!

yea i know. we've spoken several times on ls1tech if you recall. i wanted to do the same thing as you and lx1, but like you, my project had been sitting for a VERY long time and i decided enough was enough. oh well, maybe i'll yank this setup and swap it when i get tired of it next week. LOL. j/k, for now.

Good looking ride, and you got one with the RIGHT motor swap. Ford cars deserve a Ford motor. ;)

Awesome! That car was in a members SIG pic right? It was for sale, I'd seen it a few times. Awesome, awesome ride man. A nice clean notchback is a hard find!

LOL....then you wouldn't like the car i sold it to buy! :devil: oh, and the new owner of the black notch is having nothing but problems with the car now. glad i got rid of it before any of that :turd: started happening! in the first month, the trans started leaking, the heater core flooded the pass. side floor and the A/C froze up! i'm loving my ls1 notch more and more! :jest: now for the tear down to make it a nice bottom 10 high 9 sec ride. :)
