Finally got some slicks and made it to the track. Hit my goal for this year, now it's time to go faster. Lol.
Some info on my car:
Year of Car: 1998 GT
Power Adder: S-Trim (11# @ 6100)
Auto/Stick: TKO 600 w/ Tri-ax
Weight w/ driver: 3350 w/ full tank and driver (3130 car only)
RWHP/RWTQ: 433/411
Mods: PI HeadSwap, Cometic .078 Head Gaskets, Procharger 3 core intercooler w/ mondo bypass and PC bypass, Anderson Ford Power Pipe, BBK 75mm TB, Accufab Plenum, Pro-M blow through MAS, JDM Mikronite polished 3.73's, Steeda LCA's and dbl adj uppers, QA1 175-14 Springs w/ Steeda Coilovers and Tokico 5-ways up front, Bullitt Rear springs with QA1 12 way Shocks in rear. 31 Spline built rear end.....The only things that I have changed since my 11.9 run are:
UPR K Member and Chromoly A Arms
26x10x15" ET Drag slicks and skinnies
Trick Flow Diff Brace
Oddyssey Lightweight battery (stock location)
Mikronite polished JDM gears (picked up 5HP and 10TQ)
Cobra front brake swap w/ crossdrilled cadmium plated rotors
Other info: Stock internals shifting and launching at 6k w 5k burnout for about 8 seconds (not TOO smoky)...going through the traps around 5600. No front swaybar, passenger or rear seats.
Front tire pressure =45psi cold
Rear tire pressure = 12psi cold
Front shock settings = 2
Rear shock settings= LR5 RR6
Ambient temp=70*
DA= 902 ft
RT.......... .064
60'......... 1.552
1/8........ 7.325
1/8mph.. 95.07
1/4........ 11.449
1/4mph.. 120.00
I could tell this was going to be a good run because the launch felt like it pulled the blood out of my face. Lol. I feel there is still more left in the car as my datalogger data shows that I am lifting on the 1-2 shift and the 2-3 shift.

If you watch the rear passenger tire at launch you can see it actually spins just slightly before I make any forward progress. There may have been something on the track, they were mopping the starting line while I sat in the burnout box...It looks like I could use an airbag in the passenger side rear too. Also, I just discovered that one of my rear LCA bushings was blown, which would explain why the car would occasionally launch sideways (and still pull 1.5x 60's.) The car will be @ Charlie Booze's shop this week to get new heim jointed control arms installed and a roll bar welded in.
