RT66 Joliet Illinois - 10 min. from house
US41 Dragway Indiana - 75 min. from house (I'm the track photographer there...come out and say hello!)
Byron Dragway near Rockford Illinois - 2 hrs. from home.
Great Lakes (GLD) in Wisconsin - 2 hr 15 min from home.

I cut my drag racing teeth so to speak at GLD! Okay, it was actually on the streets of Kenosha but I DID go to GLD a few times too.. :lol:

except when im at school(UT) SAR is an hour... and i have a couple 1/8th's about 1hr 30 min away

At school, HRP - 1 1/2 hours, Seally 1 hr (went there last Friday), Temple is close too but I'll never go there again. At home, Penwell 1/4(West Texas Raceway Park) is about 30 min, there's a new 1/8 mile about 10 min away, and....Idalou and Wall (1/4) and Abilene (1/8) are about 2 hours away.

All we have really close by (still 40 miles for either one for most people) are 1/8 mile tracks. Emerald Coast Dragway in Holt Florida and Atmore Dragway in Atmore Alabama. There is also Irvington Dragway just outside Mobile Alabama but it's not even a full 1/8, some people like it though.

We have Pacific Raceways, Bremerton Raceways and just over the Canadain Border there is Mission Raceways. None of them closer then an hour away ;)

Mason/Dixon, MIR, Capitol, Cecil, and 75/80 (RIP)

We have No Problem Raceway and State Capitol Raceway

Richmond Dragway or Virginia Motorsports park both within 20-30 minutes.

Mason Dixon is about 45 minutes from me. I think Cecil is about 1.5 hrs, and the same for Maple Grove.

Cecil is a nice fast track.

KCIR in Kansas City and Heartland Park in Topeka, ocassionaly go to MOKAN down by joplin, mo
