HOTRODKEV 03-27-2006, 06:54 PM Dustina, I hope for your sake that your not referring to me. I think if I went to you for answers on cars I would have a few bigger problems on my hands. :turd: K Bo 03-27-2006, 07:44 PM Anywhere from $700 - $1500 depending on brand/quality and cats/no cats. I'm looking at Kooks w/ off road for around $1200. Dustin 03-27-2006, 08:18 PM Dustina, I hope for your sake that your not referring to me. HOTRODKEV 03-27-2006, 08:23 PM Look here, when you get your turd runnin.....WHEN, then you can talk mess. Till then dont forget to tie your shoes, I dont wanna see you trip on the side of the road. HOTRODKEV 03-27-2006, 08:33 PM K Bo, I saw a price for Hooker pro comp hedders ceramic coated for $589. K Bo 03-27-2006, 08:42 PM K Bo, I saw a price for Hooker pro comp hedders ceramic coated for $589. Is that with the midpipe? The prices I mentioned are for headers/midpipe. That still isn't a bad deal. I just want the fit/quality of the Kooks. Nine Ball 03-27-2006, 09:46 PM I'm not sure about Mustangs, but Hooker makes nice fitting headers for the f-bodies. K Bo 03-28-2006, 01:34 AM I'm not sure about Mustangs, but Hooker makes nice fitting headers for the f-bodies. I had some on my '01, they were nice, but I had to beat my floorpan in with a BFH and modify the primaries around the steering shaft. HOTRODKEV 03-28-2006, 01:34 PM That price that I mentioned was only for headers, no midpipe. I recently bought a set of them for my 69 chevy p/u, they fit and look great. Mike @ New Era 04-05-2006, 12:52 AM We have shorty headers for the 05-06 Mustang GT here www.neweraperformanceparts.com in the mustang section , they are t-304 stainless steel and fit mint and are very high quality . Franco 04-06-2006, 09:31 PM If looking for long tubes Kooks have my vote, and back to back testing the kooks supplied cats we only lost 3 hp as opposed to the off-road K Bo 04-07-2006, 01:12 AM If looking for long tubes Kooks have my vote, and back to back testing the kooks supplied cats we only lost 3 hp as opposed to the off-road I'm getting Kooks, w/o cats. shortround 04-07-2006, 01:24 AM If I was you i would go with Kooks or Bassani mids. I have hooker super comps on my 96 cobra and they had fitment problems and they leak pretty bad. K Bo 04-07-2006, 02:03 AM If I was you i would go with Kooks or Bassani mids. The Hookers on my '01 GT had me beating my floorboard in and bending the primaries around the steering shaft. 383ss 04-15-2006, 06:42 PM from the test in M&SF a few months back shorties are as worthless as they are on an LS1 motor. flowtech was supposedly going to have a set of longtubes out for about $400 but I can't seem to find them now |
